Back in the year 2000 all was a twitter about the demise of man,a one digit glitch, and all that had come to be.
I shaped this simple rendering / composite that reflected my mind , body , and spirit at the time.
Forgive the primitive nature but, it was what I had to offer from my hands.
My point here is ..... with all the wonderful gizmos of the day .....
What is it that you really have to offer from "you" to give back for the wonderful gift of life that has been given to you ?
I want you to think and I want you to be positive about this .
It is all about you , the living spirit that is .
Be.
I know I can count on you.

Mosin Nagant M91/30
England posted a photo:

1937 production Mosin Nagant from the Ivhesk factory.
Pre-wartime production, which means better quality than a lot that were cranked out during battle.
All matching parts.
Impossible to tell where the stock came from with a lot of these guns. There is a round cartouche on the butt about the size of a quarter which is no longer readable. Possibly sanded off when it was refurbished.
Shoots straight, though the crown isn't pristine. The bore is in fantastic shape.
This is after I removed the shellac and applied a stain. I tried to pick one that closely matched the original colors with a more matte look.

Notice the lack of over spray.
Note: Car was not in the garage when I painted. That would be bad.
